FL9 #2027, leading the Metro-North Farewell to the FL9's special excursion over the Housatonic Railroad to Canaan, CT, pauses for a photo stop at West Cornwall, CT on 23-October-2005. Dave Date: 10/24/05 19:48 Re: Farewell to FL9 Excursion Author: bn2189 I had my GPS with me, so I can say rather definitively that we never exceeded 30 mph. The railroad between Berkshire Junction and Canaan is about evenly divided between 10 mph running and 25 mph at present. Keep in mind that recent flooding has increased the amount of slow orders in place.
