Heritage Railway recommendations for the UK in March
Author: NKP779

My son and his wife will be visiting the UK in the last half of March. In the time they have, what would be the top 5 or 6 recommendations for them to see that time of year? He is a steam fan, having ridden in the tool car of NKP 765 frequently during his first 11 years! They expect to go as far north as York, England, and as far west as Wales. Will there be any mainline steam train specials then? Thanks!

You have to check the Mid-haunts railway near Alton, UK. Great place to start.
