Great footage! Too bad it was a bit shorter. I was on that particular trip on Saturday and wondered why we stopped as we were departing Owosso.. now I finally know why!

Loved the teaser of sound from the cab at speed...hope to hear more in parts II and III. That is a great sounding engine, both the bark and the whistle.

In the future, have you thought of placing an audio recorder on board somewhere, and then using that over the helicopter footage? Maybe a super strong magnetic mount somewhere on the loco or tender, away from the radio chatter. You could use the whistle blows to sync it in post.
