The last of the 4 steamers arrived today on the NCRY
Author: sp5623

Granite Rock number 10 arrived on Niles Canyon Railway tracks today in preparation for the Pacific Locomotive Association's Steamfest 2010. More information is available on our website http://plasteam.ncry.org/steamfest2010a.htm The weather is beautiful, the hills are green and four live steamers in the canyon at the same time should be quite a sight.

The Whistle on the Mason County #7 sounded extremely good in the canyon.
Anyone know the RR origin of that fine instrument/whistle?

There is something about your photos, especially the first one, that is really breath-taking! Maybe(partially) because it is elevated??? Thank You for sharing these photos.
