Approaching Farmington

Around Memorial Day, 1962. I chased this freight from Durango to Farmington. Then rode it back to Durango in a box car, nearly froze to death. To make matters worse, the car had been loaded with gypsum and was a constant cloud of white powder for the four hour trip. Ah, to be young and foolish again.

Ride back to Durango was late afternoon into evening. Left camera with driver of chase car. Argus C-3 was no good in low light anyway.
