New Steam Loco in Britain!

Has anyone got any footage of the newly constructed (yes, new from 1949 plans, not a restoration) steam engine that was built and is recently operating in England?

Plenty of footage on sites such as youtube. Search for 60163 Tornado.

I guess you mean Tornado from the reference to 1949 but the most recent steam locomotive built in Britain is a 2' gauge 2-6-2T which was outshopped in 2010 from the Boston Lodge Works of the Ffestiniog Railway. It is a replica of a class of four 2-6-2T built by Manning Wardle (an English loco manufacturer) for the almost legendary Lynton and Barnstaple Railway in the west of England between 1898 and 1925. The L&B closed in 1935 (by then it was owned by the Southern Railway) and the locomotive fleet (which also included a 2-4-2T built by Baldwin, and which is also being recreated) was scrapped.

Here she is at work on the Ffestiniog on Friday 13th April this year, sporting the livery of the Southern Railway
