It looks like all "old folks" like myself! We need a few of the youngsters learnin' the trade! I know I've did my share when I was a "Yonker"!

I need to get down there and do this sometime. 28 is considered young, right? =D

With your knowledge and experience with steam locomotives, Brian, You'de definately be able to handle it!

I played fireman and engineer on a Polish engine several years ago. Shoveling coal is hard work. It was freezing cold outside and I was sweating. But I could hit the opening and spread it around. Those guys were missing the door most of the time. lol.

These clips are from their first attempts and after a few tries they all do much better. The last day they all do good.
