A big shout out and thank you to Union Pacific and SLRG workers at all levels for providing an outstanding RR experience this weekend in the Walsenburg, Colorado area. The unexpected ride between Walsenburg and Pueblo was icing on the cake.

I was there as well---too bad the SL&RG train was delayed and didn't arrive until after dark and almost everyone was gone. They didn't get back to Alamosa until almost 11 pm.
