Actually, most if not all are handheld. Unlike a pan you do not have the momentum of your swing to level and balance your shot - so a zoom pan is much trickier to capture sharply. With a zoom pan - you "simply" zoom out as the subject zooms towards you and hope for the best. It's a shooting match - select a speed that will create good blur and choose the fastest shutter firing rate and in a batch of 9 images or so, hope you get one or two. /Mitch Date: 11/21/12 14:11 Re: How a side trip to New Hope panned out...
