You need to get rid of some of that rock ballast and plant more weeds and grass! See below. :-)

I had the opportunity to ride the C&TS a year ago and was really impressed by the track condition. Someone is doing an excellent job. Two weeks ago, I was fortunate to ride again. The trestle is beautifully restored, and the roadwork is awesome (rivals much of the class one rail). I am one happy travler.

That can only be accomplished with dedicated and ambitious track people and enough funds to purchase and install the needed material.. |
