611 trip ticketing information including pricing for the Spring 2017 trips was announced in an email today by VMT.  Also showing in a link are the cars planned for the trips.  Chairman's Class is to be the really nice Silver Solarium.  Lots of other domes in the consist too.  Prices start at $169 for the all-day trips out of Greensboro and Lynchburg and $119 for the half-day trips out of Roanoke.  Tickets go on sale at Noon Eastern time Thursday, January 12, according to the email.

Impressive six domes.    Oh boy, here comes the 'They should arrange the train with all of the red coaches up front" comments.   They should separate Super Dome and Scenic View so one is not behind the the other blocking the forward view.

Scenic View. Built in 1954 for the Santa Fe Railway’s San Francisco Chief by the Budd company. This full length dome features 60 seats with panoramic views all under glass. The Scenic View is a full length dome and is very similar to Prairie View and the Super Dome, also in our consist. 

• But no mention of Prairie View elsewhere on their page.  Omission or copy & paste from last year?
