Steam & Excursion > Anyone with Rock Island 4-8-4 5000 & 5100 Series Locos in Action?

Now the non-existent 4-8-4's of the Rock Island are but a memory, while only those of the UP, SF, etc. have been saved, I'm curious if any TO's posters have action shots of the glamorous RI engines traveling the Golden State Line in Kansas. I find mostly only still shots on Ebay, RITS CD's,, Lloyd Stagner's books, Otto Perry shots, etc. and a very, very brief view on a RI promotion video.

Are there any persons with 8mm movies, video, or other that have been recorded preferably in Kansas or, if not, beyond? Sure would like to see some posted here in video form before the brittle film becomes trashed.

Look for anything from Robert Olmstead or Don Smith. I've seen RI shots from them around KC.
