Love that fine work on the spokes. But hard to imagine too many 2-8-0s had those back in the day.

Better known as Valley Railroad #97, originally Birmingham and Southeastern #200.

The original low profile tender seen in the above photo was replaced many years ago.

Too bad; the much larger one she totes around today is somewhat ungainly for an engine that size.
