Cleveland, Ohio, January 14, 1977. Last run for engineer J. P. Selfarth. You can see a little tribute written in the dirt just behind the steps. Ektachrome 35mm slide scanned with an Epson V850 Pro. Not sure who the photographer was. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 04/19/17 18:15 by Rich_Melvin. Date: 04/19/17 18:19 Re: 4014 is All Ready to Go! Author: Scone_Empire Wow, you got me good! Unless it's enjoying life somewhere on a tourist railroad today, it was most likely scrapped a decade or so after this photo was taken. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/21/17 04:43 by apollo17. Date: 04/22/17 08:36 Re: 4014 is All Ready to Go! Author: arelpy EL blanked the portholes in the 60's. Not sure if every one of EL's 25 E8s had its portholes removed, but I recall that by the late 60's, "no portholes" was the norm.
