More 844 from 4/19

Here's three more:

4. 844 displays some of its machinery at Rock Springs, as she's being prepared for the days run to Pocatello, Idaho.

5. Rounding a curve a few miles west of Montpelier, Idaho.

6. A nice backdrop as 844 departs Soda Springs, Idaho.

Thanks for looking, and as always, comments welcome.

What kind of speed is the 844 operating at on these non-passenger moves?

To far away to tell but is that E Dickens hanging out the window? And if so, does he really run back and forth depending on which side the people are on so they can see him.

No. That is "Terrific Ted", the "Fireman", hanging out on the left side.
