The industry is changing everyday and so are the prices...it is not like the 70's 80's or 90's anymore... Wes, both Jack W and Pat Tracy really know how to fire that locomotive, and there is a lot of communication between engineer and fireman.

Nickatnight Posted from iPhone Date: 06/24/17 21:59 Re: 4449 EB at Washougal Author: MaryMcPherson I'd love to know the story behind that whistle; who made it? It sounds like the model I.C. bought and then duplicated, blown at slightly higher pressure. It hits a different chord than the Hancock whistles on 611 and the U.P. engines, and especially when he let the whistle train off I could hear the same notes the I.C. whistles hit. Sweet music!
Nice video as well! Mary McPherson Dongola, IL Diverging Clear Productions Date: 06/24/17 22:31 Re: 4449 EB at Washougal Author: HeislerPower Original Daylight whistle, came from the sister locomotive number 4452 I think.
