Santa Fe 3415 To Operate Saturday/Sunday

This weekend the Ex-Santa Fe 3415 steam locomotive will be pulling the passenger train at the Abilene Smoky Valley Railroad in Abilene, Kansas. Saturday at 10 am and 2 pm. Sunday at 2 pm.

It was 107 F with 50% and a heat index of 110 yesterday. I was very happy to be the operator of our air conditioned hyrailer railbus yesterday. Today I will be engineer of the 3415 at 2 pm and it is to reach 95 F with 40% humidity. Everyone stop by to ride, photograph or just view if you can.
