ATSF #2921's tender arrived at the Modesto Amtrak station this morning. The move from the park to the station took two-thirds the amount of time it took to move the locomotive. The first photo shows the tender aboard the super heavy duty transporter soon after arrival at the station, and the second photo shows #2921 with the tender in the background. The moving crews were unable to remove the drawbar pins on either the locomotive or the tender, so they DID have to cut the drawbar in two.

I believe there may be two drawbars about 5 inches thick each. Major cuts.

Not really "major", with the proper sized cutting head on the torch, and an experienced person doing the job.
