The skies were mostly cloudy but the sun did break through right when the train started up from a servicing stop at Spring Grove, IL.

Cheers, Dave Date: 08/15/17 08:43 Re: Soo 1003 at Spring Grove IL Author: RRBadTrack CN required a diesel pilot for the brief trip over their railroad from Slinger to Waukesha, Wisconsin. WSOR and Metra allowed the 1003 to run unassisted.
The trip was a fantastic success and the 1003 performed well. The Soo 1003 team was professional and completely committed to safety. They did a fantastic job! R.R.
