South Park Rail Society Number 4 nicknamed 'Klondike Kate' operatied at Como, Colorado, August 19, 2017. Track work was completed into former Denver, South Park & Pacific Railway roundhouse stall 5 August 19, 2017. Boreas Pass Railroad Day was an amazing success.

Prior to the #4, when would you estimate the last date an engine came out of the roundhouse onto the turntable there at Como?

Last Colorado & Southern Railway steam locomotive left the Como roundhouse 79 years ago.

From L to R - Bob Farquhar – Tim Bain (SPRS Director) – Chuck Brantigan (SPRS Director) – Kathy Brantigan (#4’s Owner) – Jason Midyette (SPRS Director) – Jeff Badger (On Loan from Georgetown Loop) – Jerry Huck (SPRS President)

Only a small sample of the people and groups that made all of this possible. We got a lot done but this was just the start. The "Como Project" is only getting started. Still lots more to come.
