What has become of the RDG 2100 mess, in Cleveland?
Author: HotWater

As the title says, what has become of the mess in Cleveland, Ohio with RDG 2100 and the ASR "group"? I seem to recall a "fake news" posting (some many months ago), which even Trains News Wire picked up, before deleting it, about some sort of "agreement".

The silence of responses is deadly.

Yes. That is REALLY surprising, as some of those folks sure like to post false information, don't they?

I heard that some guy, forget his name, is wanting to purchase it and use it on a short line in Tacoma WA. Plans to oil fire it, as a rock burner would cause problems.....

Nothing has "happened" to 2100 or ASR. She is right where she has always been in Cleveland. The work continues.

Then, why have all updates to their website seem to have stopped? They want donors, but the lack of public relations would scare many off. It has the smell of a poorly run organization.

I agree that no organization should neglect putting periodic updates to its central website but there are recent updates here:

All well and good if you're on FB. Not everybody wants to deal with FB drama.

I agree on that, though I heard TrainOrders drama isn't much better :-D

But you also don't need Facebook to see those updates. FWRHS hears regularly from people who look at our various pages but aren't members or subscribers.
