C&TSRR = Train Meet At Cresco. A double header out of Chama meets the school train at Cresco. The video is to long to post here so I posted it on my YouTube site.

Unusual consist on the passenger train. Four passenger cars following the gondola instead of the usual two.

I think that the passenger loads have been nearly phenomenal in the last few days, hence the extra cars and engine. Anyone keep count?

They were taking a tourist car and a parlor car to the train out of Antonito.

I haven't kept count but IMHO they have been real busy.

To amplify on Roger, the previous day the tourist car Antonito and parlor can Colorado had some issues at the north end of Chama yard which required that they be cut off and left. The shop forces were able to have them repaired by the next morning so they were attached to the end of train 216. They had been turned on the wye so they were facing west. This meant the platforms of the 2 parlor cars were coupled together. I noted on departure that both cars were occupied so would guess that the passengers who planned to ride these cars from Antonito to Chama instead had a Chama to Osier and back ride.
