BB: Hillcrest Lumber Climax #10 ... working in 1963

Bruce Black photographed Hillcrest Lumber's 3 truck Climax #10 (built in 1928) at Mesachie Lake, BC on July 22, 1963. Information that I've found on line is that it was the second to last Climax built and was delivered to HL in May 1928 as #3 (later r/n #10).


This was the second to last Climax built, and reportedly, in 1968, when the Mesachie Lake mill shut down, #10 was the last Climax in regular operation in the world.

Nice photo of #10.

She has been at the Mt. Rainier Scenic RR since 1979. She has operated there on and off for many years.
