Steam & Excursion > Steam in America's DairylandDate: 11/11/17 21:21 Steam in America's Dairyland Author: UPTRAIN SOO 1003 got out a little today, and I was lucky enough to be on hand with the wife. Here's a sampling of our brief but productive little chase between Horicon and Hartford, WI today on the Wisconsin & Southern Railroad. Thanks for looking!

Date: 11/12/17 12:27 Re: Steam in America's Dairyland Author: Margaret_SP_fan I really like your first photo, with both the
1003 and the Wisconsin Southern E unit -- superb! The others are great, too, and I LOL at the Santa caps on her class lights! <G> What a neat idea for Christmas! Edited 1 time(s). Date: 11/13/17 17:59 Re: Steam in America's Dairyland Author: ironmtn Outstanding! Who needs H.G. Wells and a time machine, Doc and the DeLorean, or the Enterprise and a whale rescue mission for time travel? Image #1 is so perfect nothing more is needed. As good a contemporary recreation image as I have seen.
Thanks for bending the space-time continuum for us so wonderfully! MC Muskegon, Michigan Date: 11/13/17 22:57 Re: Steam in America's Dairyland Author: mp51w That's cool! Too bad they couldn't have put a GP7 or SW1200 on the Oshkosh track too.
Horicon back on April 10, 1986. I'm glad that W&S has saved so many ex-Milwaukee Rd branch lines in Wisconsin! |
