said, time allowable. Out Date: 02/20/18 16:19 Re: Reading 2102 restoration progress Author: RBMN-ENGR This question was asked not too many months ago. The answer remains the same. Work IS progressing. However, 2102 is not the only piece of equipment we have to maintain. Our other steam locomotive 425 requires maintenance as well as over 30 diesel locomotives, 100's of company owned freight cars, passenger cars, etc. These all require attention and money and man hours. THE 2102 WILL BE DONE WHEN IT'S DONE! As far as photos of work being done and comments on what is being done, as an employee of the railroad, I'm not permitted to do so. Company policy. Sorry.
And don't worry. When it IS done, you won't miss it. It will surely be plastered all over the internet. Someone mentioned patience. Let's exercise some of that, shall we??? The 2102 is privately owned, and the owner (The Blue Mountain & Reading RR, or whatever the correct name is) doesn't really have to release ANY information. Just sit tight, and wait for when it is fired up, and, as stated above, THAT information will be all over the internet. Thus, the correct answer to your question is YES, but ONLY those employees working on 2102, as well as the owner, REALLY know what is going on. So,,,,,,,lets keep it that way, please.
