Steam & Excursion > Wish I could be there

I missed another Nevada Northern winter spectacular this month, too much to do too little time. But over many years these have been wonderful photography events starting back with Joel Jensen in charge and evolving over the years with some talented new folks. But the outings led by Joel were special, because he is such a good artist, not just a railfan photographer. And he spent as much time teaching and leading as taking pix himself. I remember muttering to myself about loosing the sun, and Joel said forget the sun look at that SKY!. Here are few of my favorites starting in 1999. John, I love that first shot, and have a copy of it in my archives. Looks like I'll never get to go there, as much as I would love to.
