LoggerHogger Returns From The 40th Annual Winterail!
Author: LoggerHogger

Well, the 40th annual Winterail is in the books! We had a great time.

Steve Barry took this photo of the vendor area. He caught my darling bride of 43 years, Marie, selling at my table with photos an Skookum books. As you can see they put me right next to Photobob who sold out his great new book on his SP photos. (Yes, I bought a copy - it was the second to the last one!)

As always it was great to meet friends from her on Trainorders. It's always nice to put a face with a name (or handle).

Vic and his Roadies did a great job as always putting on a fantastic show. It was fun seeing a few of my photos in Wayne Monger and Tom Messer's show on the Apache Railway. Let's hope this is the start of a book on this seldom seen line.

Again - a great show!

Martin

For clarity PhotoBob has a blue sweatshirt and black baseball cap, looking away from the camera.

Good to hear it worked out.

The Bob who isn't Photobob had a great time too. Fantastic to see everybody from the TO family at "Lucy & Ethel Sign the Flying Photobob Book" SPH&TS Booth, ably staffed by always exuberant Scott "The Closer" Inman. Great show, great friends, great turnout. Thanks to Vic and Annie and everyone on the WR staff and Corvallis venue for a smooth event!

We did a 4-part book on the history of the locomotive in service, it's rescure and restoration and the last volume is on the history of her last operator - the Deep River Lumber Co. We have only 6 copies left.

PhotoBob is looking over at Ted's table, but Ted doesn't appear to be manning it at picture time.

Yah, it kinda looks like the O Scale West meet around Mermorial Day. Curdled and old.

I think that's Bob Zenk sitting at the table. He and Photo Bob were signing their book of Photo Bob's great work.
