Steam & Excursion > D&SNG service interruption

Listening to the dispatcher this evening, the 2nd down train is having busses meet for passenger pickup. Recrew after 1930, and last statement from dispatch said trains might be cut off the next two days. It must be a good pile of debris.

This morning, I found the train at the Rockwood yard.
Train crews were working at the Hwy 550 underpass digging out debris.
I don't know if the train returned to the Durango yard today.
I got caught on the hwy with rocks and mud racing across the road south of the rr underpass.
Emergency people moved traffic back to the north intersection.of co rd 250.
Two snow plows and a front end loader came from the north to clear the mud and rocks.
I ended up with a 3.5 hour delay.
