Steam & Excursion > UP 844 & 1943 lead CFD to DenverDate: 07/19/18 19:18 UP 844 & 1943 lead CFD to Denver Author: ATSFSuperChief Shot this video today one mile south of Eaton, CO as Union Pacific 844 & 1943 lead the Cheyenne Frontier Days/Denver Post Train to Denver to stage for Saturday's Round Trip. Train was ridden by three good friends, Bob Krieger (retired from UP Steam crew), James Ehrenberger (retired from UP Rule Examiner and fantastic railroad historian/author) and Jim Leonard (retired from UP Dispatcher and present steam crew brakeman). Video was taken with GoPro Session Camera mounted low to show running gear. Train looked great with Veterans Unit 1943 accompanying the venerable 844 steam engine.

Cheers, Jim Posted from Android Date: 07/20/18 21:01 Re: UP 844 & 1943 lead CFD to Denver Author: ATSFSuperChief GoPro Session used cannot change lens, camera is small, roughly 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" but takes HD quality video up to one hour long. Did a lot of videos of Cheyenne & Green River in Model Railroading Discussion. Absolutely love this small excellent video camera. Also have a Nikon D7500 and planning on using both for some more Cheyenne Frontier Days/Denver Post Train Saturday and Sunday.
