Big Stuff for the Northern Pacific
Author: YukonYeti

When I think of 4-6-6-4's Union Pacific & Rio Grand Challengers come to mind.  The Northern Pacific had a fleet in their stable as well.  NP #5145 shows off her lines at Livingston.  Built in 1944, by Alco, she made it to June 10, 1955 finally meeting the scrapper's torch in South Tacoma.  Photographer - Unknown

Back to the cave to see what else I can find..
