If the loco was built in 1912, it wasn't the 828. That was built in 1899. So the original post title is most likely correct as I believe the 828 is still in Scotland. Regardless, good for the loco taking out this idiots car.

That is an current  Mercedes A class car.  Sells for about 23,000 pounds in Britain, or less than $30,000 USD.  I don't think that they are available in the US, although I am told that the new 2019 model will be available here in a upgraded version next year.  Not exactly the rich man's car.  Just the not so smart or not paying attention mans car.

It's a Mercedes GLA, not an A-class. The cheapest model is almost £26000, rising to £36000... there are much better, much better value alternatives. However if you need that Mercedes badge and have more money than sense...

Only played golf once in my life and never finished the 18 holes.   Decided life was too short and golf was too long.

Pick up is not only larger, a whole lot more useful as well.  Hauls tools, track tools, railroad ties, all sorts of things more useful than golf clubs.
