Very Cool. That's a different look for Mr. McCormack tho, what was the occasion?

Cheers, Dave

I think it was a recent private photo charter....

That's a staged run-by. DLM would never look like that in regular service...

Correct, it was a Lerro Productions private photo charter.

Different view of "One of the Good Guys".   What a track record.

I’m so glad that Doyle cameto the Conneaut Roundhouse, with Boilermaker Joe Karal...they both said “we want to help”.
Doyle had never worked on steam locos, but had served in the nuclear submarine service.... a clue to his leadership style.

Joe had worked on 759 10 years earlier, during the engine’s Classifed Repairs rebuilding in Conneaut’s backshops.
In ‘68, HICO’s Crew was in our 20s, we were all so young...

Dale Moses, NKP from Frankfort, Indiana and Joe, NKP Boilermaker, extroadinaire, guided us with skill and hard work.
We were so lucky that Doyle found us, way back in June, 1968.

Thanks for the portrait.

w.
