When you are touring the Tracks Across Borders Byway please respect the no trespassing signs. I am told there is what is left of two railroad towns under the water = Los Arboles and Rosa.

Why is the dam usually emphasized instead of the lake? swimming, fishing, boating on the dam wouldn't work well.

I like the lake better than the large dirt dam.
