Steam & Excursion > Milwaukee Road E9 32ADate: 01/11/19 16:53 Milwaukee Road E9 32A Author: kevink The Friends of the 261 groups has acquired the Wisconsin Southern #101, former Milwaukee Road 31A. IIRC, it was delivered to the Milwaukee in the UP’s Streamliner scheme as part of the Road’s contribution to the Cities trains power pool.
https://261.com/fleet/milw-32a/ Website says it will be painted to match the current fleet so looks like it will be in orange and maroon. Pretty cool if not historically accurately. I look forward to seeing it in action. Posted from iPhone Date: 01/12/19 06:10 Re: Milwaukee Road E9 32A Author: Tominde That is good news. Is this HEP equipped?

It will also be a first if it runs with the 261 as well. Steam was gone by 1954 on the Milwaukee. The E9s didn't show up until 1956. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/14/19 07:19 by MILW16. |
