Bob Krieger also mentioned this picture below. In about 1981, there was a celebration at Denver Union Station. Various equipment was brought in to display at this event; Union Pacific sent 8444. The bosses of the various departments posed on the front of the engine for a portrait. My uncle, Lloyd Lemons, was at top right. He worked for Union Pacific for 47 years, retiring in June of 1987. I had a total of 11 family members who worked for Union Pacific over the years.
