You do know you can be on Facebook just to look at stuff like UP's page, right?

Thing is John, most think Ed's still God, thing I also hate is how they claim the posts on here are bull crap, but how could they be bull crap when most of the ones who post things that're facts are railroaders who also like trains, besides, ain't there not much excusion options for the UP Steam Program after the Frontier Days Excusrions got cancelled for good? I know about Ogden, but not much else!

They did a hydro recently and tightened up any leaky fittings they found. All is well.

I fully agree! I have no desire to participate in faceplant, where every thing you do is tracked and sold to who knows who.

Then by all means, don't patronize Facebook... The rest of us frankly aren't interested whether you do or not...

I believe the same video is on Youtube, unless you refuse to use that, too... In that case, UP might mail you a VHS tape... If you prefer beta, I believe you're out of luck...

Or they could just click the link I posted. Facebook to me is pretty worthless, if it wasn’t for the groups I’m in I wouldn’t be on it. Twitter is my go to platform and I’m 37 so I’m not some old guy complaining

I can do beta 1 at work. Can also do 1” reel to reel if need to. 2” video might be a problem though. Other department has super 8 and 16 mm so that is possible.

Hope you don't have a newer "smart" TV. They track and report as much data as Facebook.

I can do VHS, Video-8, Hi-8, Digital 8, Mini-DV, HD Mini-DV, 8mm and Super 8 in house... and on the road usually stay at Super 8.

Why is it some posts turn into crap like this one did? No need for it just let it go, if he didnt want to face book just tell him where and how he can find it as nothign beyond that other than what Bob K said should have been put on TO.

There are very valid reasons some one may choose not to visit a social media site such as Facebook.

Facebook participation is a leading cause of identity theft and the military constantly stresses opsec and keeping sensitive info out of public view. Non participation is the safest thing.

Bad advice, unless you use a fake computer, a fake Smartphone, or other device with your imagination alone. While an average user might not be able to track your device, Facebook can, regardless of any "identity" you assume.
