My dad saw some of these and got a cab ride from Detroit to Durand in one. We have his movies of GTW steam in a video we did call "Vintage Steam In The East". Anyway there is a clip of 6405 backing from the end of track at the station in Detroit. He may have ridden the cab of that one from Durand, or just gotten off the train. I got to go with him a couple times since he often had business contacts in Ovid and Muskegan, Michigan. Somewhere I have a shot I took with 2 steam engines facing each other at Durand. The train from Muskegan had 4-6-2 #5629 (the Jensen Engine). The other was a bigger engine. I think I was 5 or 6 at the time. I miss seeing and hearing the GTW 4-8-4 6325 that ran on the Ohio Central!! Greg Scholl http://www.gregschollvideo.com Date: 02/14/19 14:44 Re: GTW streamlined 4-8-4 #6410 w/frt ... Location accuracy when known is beneficial to many of us, as well as "I don't know where in Chicago this is" (if used) and then corrected. It is very nice to see the photos and enjoy them.
