Pikes peak cog railway cars on the move

My wife just call and said she saw one of cog railway cars on a flatbed moving through Manitou Springs. Not sure where they are heading to.

I've heard that with the new track and equipment coming soon, M&PP wanted them gone and offered them to local museums basically for the cost of hauling them away.  Supposedly CRRM is getting a couple, as is Pueblo.

They getting rid of all of them or just the older ones?

Shame.  The historic equipment was part of the charm.  Will they retain the steam engine and historic coach?
