Steam & Excursion > A Few More From Skookum's Weekend Out On Oregon Coast Scenic!Date: 03/05/19 04:53 A Few More From Skookum's Weekend Out On Oregon Coast Scenic! Author: LoggerHogger I thought I would share a few more from our weekend training the California crews on Skookum. She is a beautiful locomotive. It is good to see her run in her natural environment.

of history with these two engines. Great to see they are both alive and well with lots of future trips to be made by both of them. Any problems with her firing?

Stack was clean when I saw it. Date: 03/05/19 18:11 Re: A Few More From Skookum's Weekend Out On Oregon Coast Scenic! Author: LoggerHogger As far as the smoke goes, as I said in my post, this was a training session. We were rotating a number of crew through the cab. Each had divverent levels of experiance.
These crew were from Roots of Motive Power and the Niles Canyon Ry. Any steam locomotive gets some getting used to when you have never run it before. Every one of these engines is different.
