Steam & Excursion > Question for the 2926 crew

Couple questions:
1. Who owns the property due north of your location?
2. Does the city use the giant warehouse to the west on your lead?
3. Are there any rail deliveries to the west of your location? I see the tracks continue on, then turn south.

Just wondering as I Google sat view.

Unless their have been some recent changes, the property north and west of the 2926 location is owned by the Federal Government. North where the kitties hang out is BIA, the big warehouse belongs to the GSA. The 2926 group has a lease for use of its current location. All tracks west of the 8th street intersection with the exception of one to the lumber yard are out of service and on Google Earth you can see where several rails have been removed or disconnected. Do a Google street view search (image from 11/18) for the 8th street intersection and you can see a rail removed on the north track and the out-of-service red board on the second track from the north.
