Photo taken on my only visit to Cuba in January, 2002. I have no history on this veteran former U.S.  locomotive other than it is No. E-1373 at the Central Amerijelaas Mill located a hour or so south of Havana. There was a second loco of similar appearance working this narrow gauge operation. All regular steam in Cuba ended shortly after this tour due to Castro closing the sugar cane mills, although a couple of tourist operations continue.

That was a really neat trip with lots of different examples of steam working in the Sugar Cane
fields.  It all faded after we left.  Thanks for sharing your excellent images.
