Will the consist be the usual 5-8 cars? Not much of a load for a Big Boy if that's the load.

I think that is likely the sad thing about all this. I'm guessing the chances of seeing the 4014 actually work hard is between slim and none, yet that is what the drama of steam is all about. Black smoke from over-firing, or sanding the flues, just doesn't cut it. A hard working steam engine is a wondrous thing, but it is hard to believe the 4014 will ever be allowed to struggle. It worked great for the 765 more than once - put them in dynamic when you want it, and then turn them off when you don't. That way you don't have to haul a big consist all the time.
