Clover Valley #4 is now running on the Niles Canyon Railway
Author: schaffner

Clover Valley Lumber #4, a compound 2-6-6-2T, was running today on the Niles Canyon Railway.  It handled the eastbound trains and SP #1423, an EMD NW-2 was used going westbound.  These photos were taken at Vallejo Mill Historic Park at the west end of the canyon.

Connie Luna was also autographing copies of her book, "Trains in my Heart", at the Sunol depot.

And the weather was perfect!

Sweet - but two things missing from her later Clover Valley Lumber days - the destinctive raised center section of her oil tank and the second air pump on the engineers side.     TomE.
