I enjoyed a cold, rainy chase for 4014's return to home rails this morning with what felt like a couple thousand friends. I especially enjoyed chasing with my father, the man responsible for nurturing my love of trains as a child. This is shot just east of the trestles at Strawberry. A little telephoto compression and some tasteful clone stamping of the family of eight that decided to walk down the right of way 60 seconds before the train arrived and I'm pretty happy with the result. It doesn’t look like it was that way when it left Cheyenne.
