Just getting to posting a few pictures from the May 10th event at Promontory National Historical Park...and yes, it is now a National Park rather than just a National Historical Site.

3) Dignitaries on stage during the ceremony include Utah Governor Gary Herbert, Senators Lee and Romney, Rep. Rob Bishop, US Interior Secretary Bernhardt, US Transportation Secretary Chou, and LDS Church President Russell Nelson.  An excellent keynote address was delivered by Presidential Historian Jon Meacham.
