Steam & Excursion > 4014 Last Week Question

Please refresh my memory. What was the cause that the train had to stop for large rocks in the right of way? I think I saw a short amateur video clip of this. I’ve watched a lot of video maybe I’m dreaming?

There were clearance issues with the rip-rap and some of the rocks had to be moved before the 4014 and train could pass.

Still my question is did the crew see the rocks and stop on their own or were they warned about the possible problem as they entered the area. 

and then---why wasn't somebody looking at this track before 4014 arrived?

the radio message from crew to ground crew was for someone to watch to make sure 4014 could clear the rocks beside the track

Why is it you feel you have been given a right to judge someone? Lame? They took the time and effort to post that video. And of course, after all, you yourself obviously watched it.

And after all, does a comment like that bring a person to question your morels?

Oh and by the way, where exactly are your videos?

Having watched part of the video I'm guessing the "lame" comment was in reference to the commentary, which I didn't care for and led me to stop watching. As a result, I did not like the video. Is it ok with you that I have that opinion?

I thought the video was great.  Looks like Ed Dickens rolled up his sleeves and got involved in moving the rocks.

Actually I said it was somewhat lame which meant I liked the video but not the chit chat which is the case with most of the Toyman videos to which I do subscribe.
I’m glad that you appreciated that I posted the video which was relevant to the topic. Oh and my morals are fine thank you very much. Which leads me to wonder why you would question in a public forum the morals of a person whom you have not met based on one post. Nice chatting with you!
