Between the sheer number of people out chasing 4014, and the narrow nature of U. S. Highway 30, I figured I would get one shot at the train between Medicine Bow and Laramie today. 

I chose the downhill stretch at Lookout. But then, after passing me at Lookout, the train made an unscheduled stop at Bosler to check on a lubricator, which enabled me to leapfrog ahead for this spot closer to Laramie.
