Steam & Excursion > IAIS #6988 East

The weather could not have been much worse, but I went out anyway to shoot the IAIS #6988 on it's deadhead move from Silvis to Chillicothe, Ill. yesterday.   The first two shots show the train leaving Annawan after a brief service stop.  The #6988 put on a rather impressive smoke show as it left town, although it's hard to see as it blends in with the heavy low overcast skies.   The last shot is the train at speed coming into Sheffield.
