Steam & Excursion > Lilliputian Steam.....WW&F in MaineDate: 06/06/19 12:24 Lilliputian Steam.....WW&F in Maine Author: mp208 Nestled away in the rolling hills above Wiscasset, ME a reborn "Maine Two Footer" is ever expanding. Over 2.5 miles of track has already been laid on the original right of way of the WW&F (Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington) which was abandoned in 1933. The atmosphere of the volunteers is clearly "Maine...the way life should be"

Station work complete....waiting for the "highball" A compact three way stub switch Runaround at the top of the mountain. Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 06/06/19 16:59 by mp208. They've fabricated and installed a sem-covered bridge over a
sizeable creek, installed an industrial siding, and are looking downhill at building a road crossing on an active highway. Their track program is amazing, as is their site work, grading and hillside stabilization. Pretty tight group.
