My son and I are going on a cross country adventure next month that’s going to put us in the state of Wisconsin the same time that big boy will be there. We planned it this way to be able to attend the huge fly in event at Osh Kosh. The timing of the big boy schedule is just dumb luck.
Not being familiar with the route the train is taking to Chicago, how close will the big boy be to the fly in event? And is anyone else on here planning on attending both events? Historic trains and planes really interest my son. He can’t be the only one.

It's about an hour drive from Oshkosh to Friesland, which is the closest public display stop to EAA. Otherwise, it will cross the state on the UP main line.
